Dr Elli Panagiotou Liassidou graduated in 2014 from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, with scholarships. She then worked in London in several Hospitals but based mainly in King’s College Hospital London, for two years, under Professor Kypros Nicolaides, with an Honorary contract, completing the Fetal Medicine Research Fellowship during January 2015-Jannuary 2017.
 
Upon that, Dr Elli Panagiotou moved back to Greece, to the University Hospital of Heraklion, Crete, for over a year at the General Surgery Department, the Emergency Department, the Paediatric Surgery Department and the Intensive Care Department of Heraklion, obtaining one year experience. 

For her Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialty training she moved to Chania, Crete at St George General Hospital of Chania and soon after she started training in Cyprus at the Makarios Hospital of Nicosia and one year at the General Hospital of Limassol.

Throughout that time, she was travelling back and forth between Limassol and Nicosia, and assisted her Gynaecologist husband Dr Chris Liassides and Gynaecologist father in law Dr. Marios Liassides at the Zoodochou Pigis Polyclinic, obtaining further experience.
 
Since February 2023 Dr Elli Panagiotou works permanently as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Cyprus at the Zoodochou Pigis Polyclinic private Hospital in Limassol. She carries out Outpatient clinics, ultrasound evaluations, deliveries, caesareans, laparoscopic and gynaecological operations. She is also involved in Fetal Medicine, through the Zoodochou Pigis Fetal Medicine Centre.
